About Our Communities
Central to Western
Central to Western North Dakota is our focus here at CENTURY 21 Morrison Realty, even though we are also licensed in Minnesota and South Dakota. Our many agents work a vast area of the state – from Jamestown to Dickinson, from the border area of South Dakota to Williston, our agents cross many miles to deliver extraordinary service to our clients and customers. We can assist you in all your Relocation needs throughout the area.
Our main office is in Bismarck, which has been the capital of North Dakota since it became a state in 1889. Situated on the Missouri Plateau, it continues to grow and change, just like the great Missouri River bordering it to the west. A city of approximately 73,000 people, it is considered an economic nucleus or the surrounding areas based on government, schools, healthcare, manufacturing/industry, and a growing service industry. Low unemployment, tons of parks, museums and activities, and a small town feel with big town amenities make Bismarck a desirable place to live.
Mandan is a taste of the “West” with its rolling hills, beautiful views, famous July Rodeo Days, and being home to the Mandan Indian Village and Fort Abraham Lincoln. With a population of approximately 22,000, Mandan continues to successfully grow its service industry and desirable living areas. Mandan is a great complement to her sister city across the Missouri River and many locals commute from one city to another.
The surrounding small town economies are based mostly in agriculture – the majority being small grains and beef. The Beulah and Hazen area is in the heart of “Coal Country” and it has its own unique economy. Our branch office is strategically located in Beulah to better serve our clients in Western North Dakota, including areas of the “Oil Patch,” comprising of the Dickinson, Watford City, Killdeer, and the Williston areas.
